Start with 1 to 2 drops and add more only if needed. Fine hair usually does best with a small amount on the ends only.

I have long wavy hair and I feel like I have a constant battle with my hair where it doesn't feel hydrated enough and is fizzy. I have used argan shampoo before and I'm currently using rice water shampoo and they both have work wonders for my hair so I was excited to try this bottle and attack the issue at the roots. I appreciate that it comes with both a nozzle and a comb applicator, which made it easier to distribute the oil around easily. I can't smell it at all which is a great feature. This isn't to say it doesn't have a smell but once on my scalp I can't smell anything. It does feel light but you have to be careful of the application or it will make your hair look greasy. I like the feel and results so far. On a side note, when I received it the bottle was leaking. Luckily it was easy to clean up and not too much of the bottle was lost.
I was aware that this product was a mixture of oils and it is - ingredients are oils from argan, grapeseed, safflower, almond, castor, sesame, and jojoba + rice water extract, vitamin e and biotin. Whew. It does pack a punch in this bottle. The oil isn't heavy, which is nicer to be able to spread it around my hair and scalp. I'm putting it on at night with a sleep bonnet when I want to shower in the morning and my hair is showing some nice (soft) and manageable (less frizzy) results. Improved hair loss may come, but isn't evident at this time but my hair sure likes it. The package arrived covered in oil, so much so that I had to wipe it up immediately once I got the plastic wrap off. The inside cap wasn't pushed down all the way (or maybe came loose in shipping) so when I took off the top cap the inside cap was up, all wonky and insecure (see pic). Messy. I still have lots of oil left and am gladly using up the bottle as I like this brand of products.
This review is for Botanic Hearth Argan & Biotin Hair Oil - 6.7 fl oz. The bottle is plastic but tinted brown. It came shrink-wrapped in plastic, but it still did manage to leak a little in shipping. The shrink wrap managed to contain most of it, so I didn't notice until the next morning after setting on my bathroom counter that there was a small pool of oil under the bottle. The bottle comes with two attachments for application. I prefer to add a small amount to the palm of my hands and run it over my hair that way. It's a fairly thick oil, and a teeny bit sticky, but not so much to be a problem. This oil left my hair shiny, manageable, feeling conditioned, and free of frizz. A little goes a long way, so this is a very affordable option for this price.
Note this oil includes rice water which I assume is why it's a little thicker than some other straight oils. Not sticky or overly thick. Like all oils it smooths out split ends and other problems that cause brushes and combs to pull hair out. The comb applicator puts out a lot of oil at once, personally I'll be sticking with the included dropper cap. It has a nice feel in my straight hair, the scent is pleasant - not overpowering. It was securely packed with a stopper cap inside the twist on lid, but still it managed to leak a little in shipment, not enough to make a big mess, but enough to make the outside of the package a bit oily.
Product smells amazing and works, but it came leaked all over the bag. Not sure how much I lost. The lid was not very secure.
I have very baby fine hair. I use hair oil to smooth out and tame down the fly aways before styling. I tried just 5 drops of this oil, rubbed it into the palms of my hands and smoothed it through my hair. Unfortunately, with my hair type, that was a big mistake. It really made my hair weighed down and super greasy. I had to rewash my hair it was so bad. Perhaps this oil is made for people with much coarser or thicker hair. I will use it as an oil to pretreat my hair prior to shampooing from this point forward. A small amount of this oil goes a long way, so I think that the fairly large 6.7 oz bottle is a pretty good value. This oil is made in India. It comes with an applicator and spout tops, as shown in my photo. The applicator top did not work for me. The oil seemed too thick to flow through the holes, so I gave up on trying to use it.
I removed one star for the leakage upon arrival. The inner cap was popped open as you see it in the photo. I don’t see that much of the oil leaked out, though, judging from the amount of oil still in the bottle. The bottle comes with two applicator caps: one is a spout, and the other is a comb. I prefer the spout, because with the comb applicator, you can’t store the bottle securely without the possibility of it leaking through the holes in comb, if it tips over. I think this product should come in a box for storing the bottle with a capped top and having the comb top available too. The oil is lightweight and absorbs into the scalp and hair very quickly. It has a very pleasant scent. See the full list of ingredients in my photo. The price is good. I recommend it.
Too greasy!!!
Me encantó! Viene con dos boquillas de aplicador diferentes que son perfectas para aplicar en a raÃz, y el resto del cabello. Además huele delicioso y rinde bastante. 10/10.
Wow
Argan oil is great for my hair and skin and I absolutely love this product. A little goes a long way.
I am loving this product! I have very dry, coarse hair. This is the best hair oil I’ve used so far to achieve the shine and silky texture I’m looking for. A little bit goes a long way!
First impression - I applied a good amount to my hair and left it in overnight. After washing and drying the next day, my hair felt incredibly soft and looked smooth without being oily. The smell is light which I appreciate.
Light not too heavy oil for hair so far so good.
I’ve loved incorporating this oil into my haircare routine! I was initially looking for a pure argan oil, but this argan oil blend with other lightweight oils and biotin has been an amazing addition. It provides great moisture and protection without feeling heavy or greasy. I typically apply it to my lengths and ends after washing my hair or after spritzing it with water to lock in moisture. A little goes a long way, and my medium-fine curly hair absorbs it beautifully, leaving it soft, smooth, and manageable. The texture is lightweight, making it a great choice for those who want hydration without weighing their hair down. One thing I did notice is that if I use it too frequently, my hair starts to feel a bit brittle—possibly due to the biotin and protein content. So, I’d recommend using it in moderation, especially for those with finer or protein-sensitive hair. Overall, for the price and size, this is a fantastic product. It’s a high-quality, lightweight oil that works well for adding moisture, reducing frizz, and protecting the hair. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their haircare routine!
I use this product as part of my weekly deep conditioning overnight treatment on my hair and scalp. It's phenomenal. It's highly effective, and a great value for your money. Curious about my deep conditioning cocktail? I'd LOVE to share: 1) Use a 100% Rosemary Oil for Hair Growth with Castor, Batana, and Jojoba Oils (I put the bottle in hot water for about 10-min first) and apply it to your entire scalp (DO NOT OVER OIL - It should be covered but not dripping), 2) Using a shampoo scalp massager, massage all over your scalp for about 5-min (it helps your scalp absorb the oils and helps with saturation), 3) Spray a deep conditioner to the ends of your hair, 4) apply a deep conditioning hair mask to your hair from the crown down, 6) apply an argan oil to the ends of your hair to lock in the moisture, (this is the step I use this product for), 7) wrap your hair in a heated head towel (I prefer a soft fleece that helps to eliminate damage), 8) leave on overnight (OR at least 4-hrs), and 9) wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo 2-3 times, using a scalp massaging brush as well, to ensure you get all of the oil out (for thicker hair, 3-4 times). Do this once a week and you will be amazed at how quickly your hair grows and how healthy it is.
This oil blend is great for moisturizing. It leaves your hair very hydrated and shiny, and it also smells nice. I usually moisten my entire scalp and massage it in. It has a carb applicator that makes it much easier to apply without overdoing it in certain areas. I will definitely buy it again.
Good price
I like the feel of the oil.
Work good Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love it
I use it like two to three hours before washing my hair and it leaves my hair so so soft.
