HOW TO USE "Biotin Shampoo and Conditioner"
Biotin Shampoo: Apply Botanic hearth shampoo to wet hair. Gently massage shampoo into the scalp, working through your hair, covering the entire hair shaft from root to tip. Rinse thoroughly.
Biotin Conditioner: Apply botanic hearth conditioner to damp hair. Use hands or wide-tooth comb to work conditioner through your hair focusing on the ends. Leave in for 3-5 minutes depending on how deeply you wish to condition. Rinse thoroughly. Use as often as needed. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, flush thoroughly with water.

I don't know, I do have my hair toned and color treated and it seems to be helping me. I do not know about protein hair straightening.

I love the smell of this product! It is refreshing and unique! However, smell is an individual thing, so I can understand why some people may not like it. It is not “industrial” smelling to me, as some have described it. Try it, and find out!
